Elderflower & Elderberry
Elderflower & Elderberry Recipes Collection
Elderberry has been used medicinally and culinary for thousands of years. And has always been associated with all sorts of myths and superstitions, both positive and negative. For example, it used to be frowned upon to cut or even cut down elderberry bushes for fear that the witch inside might take revenge.
In this collection, I share all my favorite elderflower & elderberry recipes, as well as information on how to harvest and recognize elder plants.
I love to use elderberry for elderflower tea, which helps with colds. Drying is quick and easy and the tea tastes incredibly good, especially with honey. My second favorite thing to do with it is to make syrup and various desserts like Elderflower Mousse or Baked Elderflowers. You can find the recipes below.
For alle the members of my free Vienna Sunday Kitchen Community, there are also labels for elderberry syrup to print out. Click here to join!
