Simple Austrian Semolina Porridge

Basic Recipe: 500 ml whole milk 90 g soft wheat semolina approx. 5 tablespoons for a slightly firmer semolina cook, for a more liquid consistency approx. 4 tablespoons small pinch of salt cocoa powder for sprinkling Variations: Dissolve 1 tablespoon of butter in the hot semolina mixture Sprinkle with additional granulated sugar or add sugar to the boiling porridge use cinnamon instead of cocoa add vanilla flavor
Bring the milk to the boil (be careful it burns easily at the bottom and boils over easily, always stay with the pan and stir).
Add a pinch of salt and semolina (approx. 5 heaped tablespoons) and simmer for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until it has the desired consistency.
Serve sprinkled with cocoa. The recipe produces a slightly firmer semolina mixture. If you like it more liquid, use a little less semolina.
