ROSEMARY PEACH SORBET
Quick and easy peach sorbet with rosemary. [no ice cream machine needed]. The rosemary adds a fresh and “summery” taste to the sweet and fruity sorbet…

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp. rosemary
  • 500 g peaches incl. core, ~1 lbs
  • 100 g sugar 1/2 US cup
  • 1/8 l Wasser 1/2 US cup
  • 1 tbsp. raspberry sirup to taste

  • 1 tbsp. rosemary
  • 500 g peaches incl. core, ~1 lbs
  • 100 g sugar 1/2 US cup
  • 1/8 l Wasser 1/2 US cup
  • 1 tbsp. raspberry sirup to taste
Instructions
  1. Cook sugar, water and rosemary in a pot, until sugar dissolves. Put aside and let cool with the rosemary for 30 minutes.
  2. Core peaches, puree with lemon juice.
  3. Sieve the rosemary sugar sirup, to remove the rosemary.
  4. Mix sugar sirup with peach puree.
  5. For a nice pink color, add raspberry sirup.
  6. Freeze in a pan for 4-5 hours, stir every 30 minutes.
  7. 15-30 minutes before serving, remove from freezer. Shortly before serving, mix again to get an extra creamy sorbet. Enjoy!
